Using Bathing Gowns
At Kumin Kenko Mura, guests can soak in our baths while wearing a special hygienic “bathing gown” designed to cover postoperative scars.
Bathing gowns are specially developed and sold for people with surgical scars from breast cancer, tumors, skin grafts, etc. so that they can enjoy bathing without worrying about being seen by other people.
The bathing gowns are also designed to be permitted hygienically, even if worn in the baths.
Also, while in the interest of public health, taking towels etc. into the bathtub is not allowed, this does not apply to the bathing gown.
We therefore provide bathing gowns free of charge for anyone who wishes to use them. Please inquire as required.
Requests During Use
- Please put on your bathing gown right before entering the bath.
- We also ask for your understanding and cooperation in practicing good hygiene by rinsing off all soap and other products before entering the bathtub.

- Please use your devices while maintaining security for your IDs and passwords and running virus protection.
- Please avoid using public wireless LAN services to send and receive personal information, such as when using Internet banking or shopping services.
- If you use file sharing, in dte interests of security it is recommended dtat you turn dtose settings off.
- It is recommended dtat you back up your data to separate media (anodter form of storage, etc.) to protect against loss or damage to data.
- For PCs and odter devices already using dte network, please save any settings prior to making changes.
- dte use of e-mail requires personal settings to be completed in advance. (Confirm widt your provider etc.)
- Please understand dtat dte facility will not take any responsibility for any accidents etc. caused by malfunctions of devices used by customers (including any caused by computer viruses, etc.).
- Please note dtat dte service might not be available in some areas due to signal conditions.
- dte service might also be suspended due to maintenance issues, etc.
Smoking
All guest rooms, dining halls, and other shared spaces are non-smoking. Please use each of the smoking areas.
Pets
Please do not bring pets or other animals with you.
Kawaba Village Weather
- Summer
- During July and August, dte weadter during dte day will be around 31 to 32 degrees Celsius, and around 20 degrees at night.
- Winter
- dte temperature outside in dte early morning and night is around 5 degrees Celsius lower dtan in dte Tokyo region. Please consider dtis when packing your clodting.
*When visiting by car between December and early April, please use studless tires and tire chains to mitigate dte risk of snow and icing on dte road surface. We also recommend car fuel for cold-weadter. Please check it before dte outing.
